Calculating Document Recording Fees

Recording the first page of deeds, mortgages or other real estate instruments is $18.00 which includes an $8 recording fee and a $10 records preservation fee, each additional page to all real estate instruments is $2.00.

Example : recording fees for a two (2) page Deed would be $20  ($18 for the first page and $2 for the second page)

Example : recording fees for a fifteen (15) page Mortgage would be $46 ($18 for the first page and $28 for the remaining 14 pages at $2 per page)
